The most well-known and practiced modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine is an effective and natural form of health care used by many people from diverse cultures and social backgrounds. The process involves very fine (hair thin) sterile needles be inserted into specific acupuncture points along the meridian channels of the body to clear blockages, strengthen or relax organ systems, and/or expel pathogens to encourage a return of normal energy flow within the body.
